It lets the day begin on a high note.
It is the warm fuzzy only you can give yourself.
You are too Blessed to Be Stressed.
Write an entry into your daily gratitude journal for some warm, wonderful memory you recall from your past or from the present with your family and neighbors and friends.
You are speeding in the fast lane of life. If you are in the race car of life speeding along, never making time for family or friends, you need to stress less and slow down. Take a deep breath.
Take time to hug a tree or me.
Every day find someone or a plant or animal that you go talk to and silently tell it thanks for helping you enjoy life more.
If it looks rotten and smells rotten, you’ve been doing some stinking thinking.
Smell the roses. Don’t sniff out gossip. Above all quit being so down on yourself. Go look in your bathroom mirror and put a smile on your face and laugh uncontrollably for no reason except that you are alive and can laugh.
Count your blessings instead of your worries.
Before you go to sleep or if you are having trouble falling asleep, give thanks for the quiet moments throughout your day. Simply say thanks for the sun coming out on this day, for the smile of a friend or the hug of your child or for being able to have a little less or more pain then the day before.
Stop and look up and give thanks.
Look at the beautiful sky, the myriad of shapes of clouds, the zillions of stars in the night sky and say thanks for another day and night of wonder. Sleep in peace and gratitude.
